Color matching is part of the life of any designer, and print media’s go-to reference for this task is Pantone Matching System (PMS).
Texas-based graphic designer Inka Mathew has created a photography project called Tiny PMS Match that combines tiny objects with their color matched Pantone chip. A strawberry, a piece of chocolate, a few pills — these are just a few of the tiny objects that Mathew has photographed.
Since beginning the project in May of 2013, the photographer has garnered quite an online following. A collection of new works will be published in an upcoming book, and until its release, Mathew will be posting a monthly sneak-peek image. via
